Rostov railway station
Rostov Station, proud and ancient, greets trains and escorts them on their way, a beautiful example of architecture, holding within itself both joy and sorrow. Here people bustle, waiting and believing, in hope of a happy meeting, and the train whistles in their souls measure out the minutes of waiting, like speech. And in the quiet hall, in the ancient half-light, the shadows of past years flicker long ago, and the echo of voices resounds not in vain, of those who left and those who arrived. Rostov Station, you are a symbol of the city, of its history, its destiny, and even though the years fly inexorably, you will forever remember all its pillars.
