Hedgehog in the leaves
A hedgehog scurries along the path, rustling through the leaves. He carries needles on his back, and drops an apple on them. He carries mushrooms to his burrow for the winter, all year round. The hedgehog is prickly, but not mean—he's just so funny!
Autumn harvest
The leaves are swirling, the wind is howling, the hedgehog is drowning in the leaves. He is collecting mushrooms to drag back to his burrow. Apples are turning red in the garden, the hedgehog is delighted with such a treasure. He drags them home, so that winter will not know trouble. He stocks up on time, so that he can sleep peacefully all day. And he waits for winter to come and cover the fields with snow.
Prickly ball
A little hedgehog, with a prickly side, curled up under a bush. He slept, hearing neither knock nor shock, and saw a sweet summer dream. The hedgehog woke up, stretched, and went into the forest in search. He feasted on berries and began to sing his song.
Meeting in the forest
I wandered into the forest, loving the silence, and met a hedgehog in the grass. He snorted quietly, looked at me, and disappeared into the dense foliage. He was busy with his own business, searching for something under a leaf. I didn't bother him, and moved on, into the forest. The hedgehog is a modest forest dweller, he loves peace and quiet. And in the forest he is very at home, and it is always good to be with him.
Hedgehog and apple
On the lawn, by the fence, a hedgehog found an apple. He drags it slowly to his hole, like a bun. It's hard for him to carry, but he tries, working hard. So as not to go hungry in the winter, and not to know cold eyes.
Hibernation
The forest falls asleep in the snow, the hedgehog sleeps soundly in his hole. He dreams of summer, sun, and grass. He sleeps, not hearing the howling blizzard, or the cold of winter days. He dreams of apples, mushrooms, and the warm light of summer rays. He will sleep until spring, to gather strength again. And waking in the spring again, he will go for a walk in the forest.
Little Traveler
A small, prickly hedgehog walks along a forest path. He carries a mushroom in his paws, and sings a babbling song. He hurries home, to his forest, where his family awaits. And there will be warmth and wonders, and joy all year round.
Night Hunter
When the sun has long since fallen asleep, the hedgehog goes hunting. He searches for bugs, moths, and worms that crawl through the swamp. He hears every rustle and sound, and sees everything around him in the darkness. He is a clever night hunter, and he finds his prey in a flash. He eats to gain strength, and sleep peacefully in winter. And he is very important in the forest, this little hedgehog of ours.
Hedgehog and the Rain
The rain pours, pattering on the leaves, The hedgehog hides under a bush. He waits for the rain to go away, And for a ray of light to emerge again. He doesn't like wet grass, Or cold rain. He dreams of warmth, And sunny weather.
Forest Doctor
A hedgehog in the forest is like a renowned doctor. He digs worms out of the ground. He carefully treats illnesses and saves the forest from pests. He is undoubtedly the forest's sanitation worker, and helps nature thrive. He works quietly and sedately, and is ready to help and love all the animals. He is an important member of the forest brotherhood, and without him, the forest would be in trouble. The hedgehog is the forest's doctor, and he is always glad to see us.
Hedgehog and mushroom
Under a birch tree, by the path, a hedgehog found a boletus. He was very happy about the find, and dragged the mushroom home, in due time. He will feed on it during the winter, and gain strength. And he will rejoice in the forest, and play merrily.
Spring awakening
The sun is warm, the snow is melting, the hedgehog has woken up from his sleep. He stretched, ran, and went out into the forest, like spring. He is glad for the warmth and light, and new days, and new friends. He will run through the forest, and enjoy life himself. He will look for food, and build a new home. And in the forest he will be happy, this little hedgehog of ours.
A quiet rustle
A quiet rustling sound is heard in the grass, A hedgehog is looking for his lunch. He rustles the leaves, And finds a bug in response. He eats it slowly, And savors the taste. And he is happy in the forest, And glad for every hour.
The Hedgehog and the Moon
The moon is shining in the sky, A hedgehog is walking in the forest. He rustles softly, And sings his little song. He is glad for the silence of the night, And the beauty of the moonlight. And he is happy in the forest, And enjoys every moment. He looks at the stars, And dreams of miracles. And in the forest he is calm, This little hedgehog of ours.
Farewell to summer
Summer is fading, the days are getting shorter, The hedgehog is preparing for winter. He gathers leaves into a pile, And builds himself a burrow. He knows that soon the cold and snowy season will come. And he must be ready, For a long winter hibernation.
