As early as March 1, 2027, the world saw a new regulation regarding the introduction of licensing for the transportation of passengers using buses, which was also approved by the Government of our country.
Based on this provision, it can be noted that licensed activities for the transportation of people include:
Carrying out passenger transportation based on a previously drawn up transportation agreement or a drawn up agreement for commercial transportation;
Carrying out such transportation taking into account the necessity of this for one’s own needs.
At the same time, licensing is not carried out if it is carried out while using buses of the following type:
- Fire safety;
- Ambulance;
- Police services;
- Emergency and rescue services;
- Federal authorities;
- Armed Forces.
It is also worth noting that the need for licensing disappears when such transportation is carried out on roads that are not listed as public roads, that is, within a specific enterprise.
There are also a number of requirements regarding the applicant that will be presented to him from March 1, 2024-2027 and are as follows:
- Road safety must be ensured by a specific official who has previously passed the certification procedure and has the full right to engage in this type of activity;
- Availability of an appropriate license for medical activities regarding the provision of medical examinations before or after a flight;
- Availability of bus vehicles that are in the applicant's possession not only by right of ownership, but also on other legal grounds, but with the exception of possible lease.
It's also worth noting that license applicants must provide a complete list of all their vehicles so they can be included in the official registry of all licenses. If a bus not included in this registry is used, the driver will be fined and the vehicle will be impounded. This type of license is issued to all bus owners, including legal entities and individuals whose buses have a passenger capacity of more than eight.
