Fashionable Makeup 2027: Master Classes and Stylish Ideas

• •

The makeup trends of the new 2027 season will finally shift the focus from nude, natural makeup to more vibrant variations. Color is back in fashion. Subtle makeup with flawless skin and natural shades hasn't yet given up its place, but vibrant pops of new looks are starting to appear everywhere.

Trends of the 2027 season

Recent fashion shows demonstrated designers' desire to brighten the world. While the models' faces may sometimes appear unnatural and pretentious, they certainly aren't boring.

Metallic eyeshadow pigment

The main trend is eyeshadow texture. It's impossible to single out a single trendy shade, but it's safe to say it will have a metallic sheen. The new season's runway makeup looks shimmered with gold, red, blue, and gray. Sometimes, makeup artists combined several of these self-contained shades into a single look. A subtle silvery haze with colored undertones is perfect for evening and daytime makeup. The key is to maintain the metallic sheen on the lids.

Black eyeliner arrows

Eyeliner, or as it's known in the American language, will be one of the trends of 2027. Makeup artists have embraced this tool to create a retro look. The runways featured black lines along the crease, eyes outlined in black, and small, elegant or thick, precise, grunge-inspired wings. Saint Laurent went the extra mile, adorning its models with just a touch of black mascara applied with their fingers.

Original touches on the eyes

Rainbow shimmers

New trends allow for combinations of pastel and neon shades to be applied to the eyelids in any order. Rainbow eyelids will no longer be surprising in the 2027 season. The only limitation is that the bright eyelids should remain the sole accent in this makeup look.

A naive look and doll-like eyelashes

Makeup gurus have recently forgotten about mascara. Models' eyes looked "naked" without dark, fluffy lashes. But the new season brought its own rules, and new looks centered around enormous, doll-like lashes hit the runways. Jeremy Scott chose voluminous false lashes for his models, gluing them to the lower lids. MSGM decided to coat the models' lashes to create a spider-like effect. At the Chanel show, viewers were treated to a mix of natural and artificial lashes, generously coated with mascara.

Pink makeup is also trending. In contrast, gothic, dramatic eyes and dark lips will look unique, but also fit right in with the fashion trends.

Lips should be bright and shiny this season. Many makeup artists feel matte lipsticks have had enough of the spotlight and have replaced them with glosses. Berry shades coated with a reflective film and a "clean" complexion will be the most popular looks of the new season.

Master class on applying fashionable makeup

By incorporating several fashionable makeup techniques into a single look, you can achieve a stunning effect. Your face will become more expressive and even more attractive. Modern trends emphasize the most interesting facial features.

«Cat's eye with wide arrows

The key feature of cat-eye makeup is the elongated, almond-shaped eye. This natural shape can be enhanced with dark eyeliner. If your eyes are more rounded, artfully applied eyeliner will enhance the effect. To create this look, you'll need:

How to create everyday makeup?

Experts consider daytime, barely-there makeup to be one of the most challenging types of makeup. It's designed to give a woman a natural look without bright color accents.

The first step is to conceal the signs of sleep deprivation—dark circles under the eyes. A regular concealer is sufficient for this. Before applying, moisturize your skin with a day cream so the concealer goes on more evenly. It's important to choose a concealer that matches your skin tone to avoid the appearance of being tanned while wearing large sunglasses.

The next step is applying a makeup base. This will make it easier to distribute the makeup and help it adhere to the skin. A sponge or a special spatula is suitable for this.

After this, we need concealer again to cover skin imperfections such as pimples, scars, and age spots. The concealer should be applied pointwise, then carefully blended into the desired area. You can also apply a light dusting of powder over the concealer.

The next step is applying blush. Contouring, which has become fashionable these days, is inappropriate for daytime makeup. Simply choose a natural shade of blush and apply a light shadow under the cheekbone.

Eye makeup should add depth and a natural glow to your eyes. To achieve this, simply choose a natural eyeshadow shade slightly darker than your skin tone and apply it to your upper lid with a brush. A lighter shade can be used under the brow bone. Apply mascara to the upper lash line. On the lower lid, simply comb through the hairs with a clean brush.

Eyebrows remain a key feature of the face this season. Thick brow arches should be carefully shaped. Those with sparse hairs or even bald spots are advised to use tinting products that match their natural brow color. This could be a special mascara, gel, or shadow. It's important to maintain moderation and avoid making the brows too bold, as this will create a frowning, angry expression.

Finish your daytime makeup with lip makeup. First, moisturize your lips. Then, apply a clear gloss or a natural-colored lipstick on top.

If desired, you can combine the last two products. Daytime makeup can be done without a lip liner. However, to ensure better lipstick adherence and a more defined appearance, outline your lips with a lip liner that matches your lipstick. Then, apply powder to set your makeup. To achieve high-quality makeup, regardless of style, you need to ensure clean skin, well-groomed eyebrows, and good cosmetics. When choosing trends, it's best to focus on one and achieve perfection, after which you can focus on other fashion trends.
