A lesson is always a challenge, a small battle between knowledge and ignorance. The fear of answering is familiar to every schoolchild, as the eyes of classmates and the teacher are on you. But it's precisely at this moment that confidence is born, when words flow into coherent speech and thoughts take shape. These poems are about those moments when you need to gather your courage and share what you know, about excitement, hope, and the small victories found on the school desk.

First answer
My chest pounds, as if at war, and my thoughts are jumbled. My gaze searches for help, but only one hope remains—I value myself now. My breathing is ragged, my heart beats in rhythm, and my words suddenly become stuck in my throat. But then the teacher nodded, like a sign, and I responded, my fear forgotten.
Forgotten paragraph
The notebook's lines are like a labyrinth, But in my head - only emptiness and darkness. I forgot the necessary paragraph in an instant, And I feel the color rise. I try to remember, clinging to the words, But it's as if my memory was suddenly turned off. And now the question, like a sentence, ash, On the tongue, and in the heart - a heavy sound. But suddenly, like a glimmer, the thought came to me, And I answered, though not completely. The teacher smiled, and my soul Breathed a sigh of relief in the silence.
A quiet whisper of a hint
In a row of seats, as if in the semi-darkness, Someone's whisper reached my ear. Hope timidly flared within me, And fear lost some of its strength. I repeated the words, like an echo of the day, And the teacher's gaze caught mine. But this time the answer came, beckoning, To knowledge, to truth, to the very depths. And although the hint was a small deception, It helped me stand firm. And in that moment, like an ocean, I was able to hold on to my doubts. But I know that honest work is important, And knowledge is my true shield. A hint is only an accidental, weak guard, But intelligence and hard work are the true, clear vision.
A look out the window
At my cramped desk, in the half-light of the day, My gaze wanders beyond the window into the distance. There, clouds float, beckoning, calling, And thoughts fly away like ships. The teacher asks, and I remain silent, Captive to dreams, in a world of my own fantasies. And suddenly, a question to me, like a ray of light, Breaks through the fog of empty peaks. I answer, as if by chance, And the words flow like a stream in spring. And in that moment, as if by chance, I realize that I am not alone.
Poems by heart
When poetry is memorized, fear melts away like melting snow. And in that moment, as if light, words fly, demanding no reproach. I speak, and feel the flight, and rhymes dance in the air around me. And in that moment, as if calling, poetry, my faithful, long-time friend. And although not everything is immediately clear to me, the beauty of the poems captivates me. And in that moment, as if in a dream, I feel the world around me burning.

But here is the answer, like a reward, And joy suddenly fills the heart. And in this moment, as if a coolness, Relieves the tension and the circle.
The mysteries of chemistry
Flasks and test tubes, reagents and gas, Chemistry – the science of witchcraft. And now the question, like an atlas, has revealed its rights before me. And although chemistry is a complex science, it conceals beauty and light. And in that moment, it seems as if the mystery of the universe, like an eternal secret, is visible.
The Call of Geography
Maps and compasses, mountains and seas, Geography – the science of wanderings and wonders. And now a question, like dawn, brings to mind distant skies. And although literature is a precise science, But within it lies depth and passion. And in this moment, as if visible, The truth of life, like eternal power.
A teacher's view
The teacher's gaze, wise and direct, seems to see right through my soul. And in that moment, as if he were speaking to me, he speaks without demanding anything. I respond, trying not to tremble, and feel support and warmth. And in that moment, as if breathing, becomes easy and good.
Silence in the classroom
The classroom is silent, only the beating of my heart can be heard, awaiting words. And in that moment, it's as if the whole world around me is silent, and there are no other worlds. I answer, and my voice trembles, but in the silence it suddenly sounds louder. And in that moment, it's as if my soul is flying, freed from torment.
A call will save you
In the distance, like a harbinger of change, a bell rings, saving from torment and misery. And in that moment, as if in return, I receive the long-awaited light. I answer, and time melts away in an instant, and now the end is here, and I can breathe. And in that moment, as if I have grasped knowledge, I can now take a step.
And so, this modest collection is finished, born from memories of school years, of fear and joy, of the search for truth and of small victories over oneself.
